Parents,

Just a reminder that your child has his/her first Spelling test this week on Thursday.  I suggest students review their 10 weekly spelling words by...

1.  Write a pretest.
2.  Write out ONLY THE errors 5 x each
3.  Write a post test.

Continue doing this until all of the words  are spelled correctly.  I suggest starting this review early in the week so as to avoid last minute cramming the night before.

Also, I am trying to have weekly Language quizzes on grammar / writing concepts taught.  This week, our quiz will be on writing sentences.  See your child's duo tang (yellow) tonight for review.  I have circled errors that your child needs to correct on each page.  Please go over this work with your child.
