Dear Parents,

Well, I corrected all of the THRoW  books from last week's homework over the weekend and gave some constructive feedback on how your child can improve.  Please read over my feedback BEFORE beginning new THRoW this week.  Again, students are asked to identify the text as Fiction or Non-Fiction and prove it by the features (see example at the front of each THRoW book).  Same task as last week, only a new text. 


Spelling:  Please sign and make sure your child has written each error 10x at the back of their speller before returning.  All spellers should be returned before Friday.

This week:  

Terry Fox Run at 10:00 start in our gym followed by a run around the track.  Thank you for all of your support!  Our school goal is to raise $1000.00 for this worthy cause!  Privileges are also given as an incentive to be enjoyed on Thursday this week.  Remember to bring in gum / wear PJs / hat / toy / if your child paid for those privileges!  
Our primary privileges are...

4.  Wear PJs
5.  Wear a hat

Class Mass:


This week, Friday, September 30th at 1:00 pm, Team Wilson will organize and participate in our very own classroom mass with Fr. Tony and Ms. Christine from OLPH Church.  We are very excited to plan, practise and put on this mass.  It helps us understand the parts of the mass and allows us a chance to take part in something very special.  Ask your child which part they are doing in this mass...because EVERYONE has an important role to play in making it our very first TEAM WILSON class family mass!
