Tonight your child will be proudly coming home with a turkey - but not the eatin' kind! This is a grateful turkey! Students brainstormed a web of all of the things they are grateful for and selected their top 5 to add to their turkeys! Hope you enjoy reading them! I sure did!
FAVOUR - please return them - yes, they are adorable you probably don't want to return them - but I would like you to return these adorable turkeys on Tuesday so they can be used in our upcoming Mass next Friday in the gym. I will send them back home after the mass! Thank you!
Also, just after having hosted a CLASSROOM mass, the grade 2/3s are now going to be leading our very first SCHOOL MASS! Yes, 2/3W and 3F will be hosting our Welcome back / Thanksgiving mass next Friday, October 14th at 10:00 am in our school gym. All are welcome to attend! Since we are sharing the mass with another class, not all students will have an active role to play. Those students who volunteered and were selected to read, can practise their parts over the long weekend if they wish. I am sending home the readings tonight.
