Hello Parents and Players!
Here's what is going on this week...
Wednesday - Field Trip to Thiessen's Apple Orchard. Chaperoning parents, please sign in at the office and meet in our classroom by 9:00 am.
- Remember to send your child dressed very warmly as most of the day will be spent outdoors. Boots, hats, gloves, warm coats, the works! Better to be warm than cold!

Friday - P.A. Day, No School, so our usual WOW test and THRoW homework will be due on Thursday.
MATH:
This week, we began a new Math unit on Number patterns and relating addition and subtraction to multiplication and division. Check out the curriculum link to the right for more details about grade specific expectations.
SCIENCE:
Also, I hope to wrap up our Science units on Stability and Structures for the grade threes and Simple Machines for the grade twos by the end of this week with a Science Unit test early next week.
DANCE:
Students have been put into small dance groups and are preparing to perform a 10-Step dance routine in unison. We continue to be exposed to and dabble in a variety of dance styles including line dancing, hip hop, jazz and more! It's important to have an appreciation of all styles of dance! Ask your child about his/her dance routine!
That's all for now,
Thank you to an amazing group of parents who continue to read and participate in our weekly blog draw! Thank you for taking time to read up on all of the exciting things we are doing here at school!
